Frances has been part of my practice for over 7 years. She is a godsend to me. She understands bodies, how to get those bodies into the poses that make up our practices without harming us. She shows the poses from the ground up or from the head down, explaining the reasoning behind the poses and their structures.  Frances is always studying with others to enhance her practice. We all benefit from her quest to learn even more. I so appreciate every class I take with her. She is a wonder!

My name is Mary Berray, long time member of the Seattle Athletic Club.  I have been practicing yoga for many years but when I started practicing yoga with Frances a few years ago, it made a really big difference in my mental and physical well being.  I have had several challenges over the years including a hip replacement and brain cancer.  Frances focuses on balance, strength and stability and I realized that after each of her classes I felt so good.  Frances makes sure to always give options for each pose and by focusing on seemingly small adjustments she achieves amazing results.  My hip is better than it has been since the surgery and my neck has so much more mobility.  I am grateful to have Frances and my instructor and don't know what I would do without her.

I look forward to each yoga class that Frances offers. She tailors each class to the needs of class members. She always invites requests, which she seamlessly incorporates into her plans for her class. She is warm and engaging in her delivery. Her sequence of asanas advances from initial warm-ups, progressing into strengthening movements, then returning to restful positions prior to shavasana. 


Frances maintains good connections with class members, as well as a good sense of humor throughout. After her classes, she routinely receives very positive feedback about the joints and muscles that her instructions have improved.
